Our Vision is to become a single solutions provider for clients that are seeking advisory, capital planning, design, construction management, and asset management services for their infrastructure and real estate investments.
OUR HISTORY
Grant Engineering was founded by Brian Grant in 2012. The firm provides Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Construction and Program Management services. Since 2012, we have completed projects for several New Jersey municipalities including City of Newark, City of Paterson, and City of Camden. We have completed various commercial and residential site development projects for non-profit and for-profit developers. Since inception we have performed land surveying, infrastructure evaluation and planning, site civil engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction management services. The firm is headquartered in Newark, New Jersey with operations in New York, Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Leadership
Joseph Chinnery
Site Development Sector Lead (NJ/NY/PA)Mr. Chinnery manages the civil engineering operations for the Region 1 offices. In that capacity he provides project oversight, client management, and marketing in Region 1.
Wystan Benjamin, P.E. (U.S.V.I.)
Transportation Sector Lead (USVI)Mr. Benjamin manages the civil engineering operations for the Region 3 offices. In that capacity he provides project oversight, client management, and marketing in Region 3.
James “Jim” Cowley, PE
Water/Wastewater Sector Lead (NJ/NY/PA)Mr. Cowley is a licensed professional with over 30 years of experience running both regulated public utilities and contract operations. Expertise in water treatment gained working on a wide range of projects that encompassed the water supply cycle from source of supply, through treatment, to the delivery of potable water to the customer’s tap. Mr. Cowley is the lead Technical manager for our Water/Wastewater services at Grant.
Kathy Martin, M.B.A.
Manager - Business OperationsMs. Martin manages business operations for Grant Engineering. She provides overall oversight of administrative, human resources, accounting, and financial functions for the company.
