Single Family Residential House Lift

Tropical Storm Sandy caused extensive damage and flooding to over 10,000 homes in New Jersey. Grant Engineering provided boundary and topographic surveys for this project, and designed the new masonry foundation for the homeowner as part of an increase in height of over 4 feet. Our design incorporated new flood elevation requirements from FEMA, and accounted for additional wind loads on the raised structure.
