Grant Engineering provided surveying and site plan engineering services for this Religious and Charitable Services Center project. The 2.40-acre site design was impacted by offsite wetlands which required approval by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. The client wanted to maximize parking, so we designed two underground stormwater retention systems which reduced the flow rates to pre-development levels and maintained pre-existing drainage runoff pattern to the wetlands. This $4 million project allows the United Methodist Church of Greater New Jersey to expand their mission to serve the most vulnerable amongst us in New Jersey and abroad.
